Looks like, everyone in the cricket fraternity wants to discuss on Sachin Tendulkar future. After Ian Chappell, former Pakistani test player cum commentator Rameez Raza has joined the bandwagon by advising master blaster to concentrate on test cricket rather than one-day cricket. He is of the opinion that Sachin has lost the killing instinct mandatory to play in the shorter form of game.
According to Rameez Raza,
I would want to see him play regularly for India in Test matches, maybe not so in one-day cricket. You need little more fire power in one-day cricket and the youngsters can provide that fire power. Of late, his graph has been going down and though he is averaging around 50, he has not been winning matches for India for quite a few years.
Though, Rameez opinion looks bang on but the point is why not Sachin only play in one-day cricket rather than test matches. It is worthwhile remembering that Sachin was deprived of his favorite opening slot in the World Cup and in my opinion he is still the best opener in the world at one-day cricket. Apart from that, Sachin can also contribute heavily with the ball in one-day cricket and is not bad in the field as well.
